And an overwhelming desire to serve you and your church!

Dear Pastor,

The feeding of the 5,000 is a great story. I’m skeptical though, based on crowd size, that the little boy was the only person who had a sack lunch that day.

In fact, I'm convinced a bunch of folks in that crowd had a little something tucked away for later. Come on! A bunch of Jewish mothers aren’t going to let their families go hungry, are they?

Yet it was only the little boy's gift that Christ used. No one else got the privilege of seeing Jesus take and multiply what they had so that it could become a blessing to 5,000 people.

Pastor, that story inspires me! It encourages me to offer what I have so I can see Him use it to accomplish His purposes.
